Riding bikes is a way for me to find new lines, and to think outside of the box I love it when I can recreate the feeling of a smooth ride on my bike, as to making turns down a steep powder run
For Hailey Langland, the relationship she has with her father shaped her career and the passions that keep her motivated. The images in the past remind her why she holds these sports so close to her heart. Her quest for the next Perfect Shot continues.
Mountain biking and snowboarding are pretty similar, whenever I can ride a berm really fast it makes me feel like I just did a turn in pow.

Do your friends ask if you intend to ride the chairlift when you invite them out for a ‘few’ park laps? Do your top routes frequently involve pushing up and down trails that aren’t on any map? Do your favorite rides begin or end with headlamps, an ice chest and great friends? Does your bike have to do everything well to get you there and back again? If you think you might be this rider, then Occam should be your bike.

The need for one more turn or one more lap can blur with the seasons. For some, this passion drives them to hold on to winter when most have moved on to summer sports. For others, this motivates them to search for a ribbon of dirt in far-off corners of the globe.
We follow two athletes as they share in this intense, borderline obsessive, passion for their sports and hatch a plan to capture the "Perfect Shot" as they blur ski and bike season.
Capturing content has become part of the job description now. I look back on the photo shoots I have and it’s unforgettable.
The mountains really bring community, that’s the best thing that it offers. When you’re out filming with your buddies it’s really fun to share that content with people, there’s always something to laugh about.
Capturing moments along the way, getting something that surprised yourself and the athletes is definitely a good feeling and a really good payoff.

Zach’s days of biking solo are over since his dog Maisey started coming along for the ride. Watch how reinvigorating it can be to have a riding buddy there with you for miles on end.
From all those days spent going solo, I was starting to lose inspiration to get on my bike. This girl gave me a new breath, to get back on the bike day after day. It’s about experiencing the ride with someone else. I’m riding with my best friend.
Zach is riding his Rallon for this episode of My Perfect Shot.

The downtube also features a storage space to keep essentials ready for anything the trail might bring. Take a look at our full mountain bike offerings and where to locate yours today.
California was the start of a dream for NFL star Cam Jordan and videographer Chris Ray.
A decade after moving to Berkeley, these icons are still trying to capture memorable moments in places that are symbolic of their humble beginnings.
Cam trades in his running shoes for an eBike to explore his old training grounds from his college years with Chris there to document the homecoming.
Professional NFL defensive-end for New Orleans Saints. With over 100 sacks in the tenure of his career, he’s a force to be reckoned with on any defensive line. Grew up in Arizona and went to College at Cal Berkeley before going pro.
Film producer, content creator and videographer extraordinaire. After working for DC shoes for 11 years, Chris finally branched off to start his own media company (Motion Clubhouse) to bring his vision and stories to the world through film. He grew up in southern California.
Going from street cycling which I’m used to, to getting a little outside my comfort zone on a mountain bike was crazy. You have to be able to focus, yet still, be relaxed. It’s like game-day for me, the same adrenaline pump was there.
I ride because it gives me the same exciting vibes (especially on the streets) of chasing after a running back. I love playing games while riding, trying to catch the rider ahead of me.
I’m not gonna lie, I used to get annoyed when I’d hear how obsessed my friends are about riding and how I should try it. After giving it a shot, I’m now that obsessed friend that got hooked and totally understand the thrill.
